By selected works for the exhibition in Gallery Salon Galić, Marko Markovic creates an ambient installation with sound, moving image, and space. By placing performance documentation in a confrontation with audio sound, the author opens up parallel and generates a new atmosphere. Performance documentation shows performance in which the author knocks on the wall while breaking the joints on the fingers. The sound of knocking brings a certain rhythm that goes through the gallery space. On the other hand, we can observe the audio work- documentation recording of the tiger’s roar – the beast trapped in the cage deprived of freedom. Over time, Markovic tries to communicate with Dimitrij, the tiger. For the period of time, they are together in the cage and their voice overlaps with each other- human and animal.
