CROATIAN ASSOCIATION OF VISUAL ARTISTS
HULU Split is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-partisan professional association of visual artists operating in the Split-Dalmatia County, bringing together artists from all over Croatia working in all forms of visual expression, from painting, graphics, and sculpture to multimedia art. For over seventy years of its existence – formerly as the ULH-a branch for Dalmatia, then as a branch of HDLU, and today as an independent association – HULU Split contributes to the development of visual arts in the Republic of Croatia by organizing solo and group exhibitions of its members and guest artists. The program concept of today's HULU Split is based on a continuous annual program of solo exhibitions and the regular initiation and organization of larger group projects, as well as providing co-organizational support to members, other institutions, associations, and festivals.
